Weather Situation A high pressure system over eastern Bass Strait will move slowly eastward over the Tasman Sea today, as a low pressure system and associated front cross the Bight. Northerly winds will freshen over western and central districts today, then moderate on Thursday as the front weakens and the low approaches Kangaroo Island.
